The Problem

Nepal has talent.
Nepal lacks access.

Entrepreneurs

need capital.

Farmers

need opportunity.

Creators

need believers.

Returnees

need a second chance.

Parayati exists to close that gap.

What is Parayati?

Moving forward.
Beginning again.

The name Parayati draws from ancient Sanskrit roots associated with carrying across, moving beyond, and helping someone cross a limitation toward new possibility.

It exists for moments of renewal: a founder rebuilding, a farmer starting over, a creator bringing an idea to life, or a returnee investing in a new future.

Parayati is building a trusted system of community capital — where people back people, opportunity is shared, and new beginnings become possible.

The Founder

Why Parayati Exists

I know what it means to begin again.

After nearly a decade abroad, I returned to Nepal after failure, loss, and a period where I had almost given up on myself.

A mentor helped me change direction, return to my roots, and rebuild. That second chance became Red Mud Coffee.

With small capital and relentless grit, it grew into 8 outlets, 70 employees, foreign investors, and more than 100 suppliers and supporters.

Then, in 2020, I lost it.

Not because the business failed.

Not because customers disappeared.

Not because I stopped believing.

"I lost it because I could not access the right capital at the right time."

Banks said no. Finance moved too slowly.

The people who believed in me had no trusted way to help. Eventually, I walked away from a dream I had spent more than a decade building.

That experience revealed a deeper problem across Nepal: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

People with character.
People with ability.
People with plans.
But without access.

Parayati was born from one question:

"What if communities could back people they believe in?
What if trust itself could become a form of capital?"
